Laura Villa's history with yoga begins at the age of fifteen. She says that at that age she started attending yoga classes at a club, where her mother accompanied her. From the first day she felt very attracted to this ancient philosophy, without knowing that it would become a great passion in her life.
"It was not easy to make the body more flexible, and even less to obtain some control of the mind," she says, but she acknowledges that her difficulties generated in her a great enthusiasm to learn more about this oriental philosophy. “When I started I was very far from touching the tips of my feet with my hands, my spine had the beginning of kyphosis. Closing your eyes without the thoughts falling like a cataract in the mind, it was impossible. "For this reason, when I ask my students to be patient in their practice, I know what I am talking about."
